Software engineering

Products people find easy to use.

Good design starts with understanding the people who will use the product and what they are trying to get done. We research, sketch, build clickable prototypes and test them before polishing the details, then hand developers designs they can build without guesswork. We also design the AI parts of a product, where trust and clear feedback need extra care.

What we offer

UI/UX & Product Design services.

  • 01

    User research

Interviews, surveys and analytics reviews that clarify who your users are and where they struggle.

  • 02

    Information architecture & wireframes

Site maps, user flows and wireframes that settle structure and navigation before visual design begins.

  • 03

    UI design

Visual interfaces with clear hierarchy, consistent components and designed states for loading, empty and error screens.

  • 04

    Design systems

Reusable components, tokens and usage guidelines in Figma, kept in step with the components in your codebase.

  • 05

    Interactive prototypes

Clickable prototypes that let stakeholders and users try an idea before any production code is written.

  • 06

    Usability testing

Moderated and unmoderated sessions that show where people get stuck, followed by prioritised fixes.

  • 07

    Designing for AI features

Interfaces that set expectations, show sources, handle uncertainty and give users control over generated output.

How we work

From idea to launch, and beyond.

AI takes the first pass, trained people review it, and quality is checked before delivery.

  1. 01

    Discover

We learn your goals, users, constraints and what already exists.

  2. 02

    Design

Flows, screens and architecture agreed before heavy building starts.

  3. 03

    Build

Short iterations, so you see working software early and often.

  4. 04

    Test

Automated and manual testing, including accessibility and performance.

  5. 05

    Launch & support

Release, monitor and keep improving it with you.

Where it helps

Typical projects.

The kinds of work this service usually supports.
A developer working on code on a laptop.
  • New product discovery

Shaping an early idea into tested flows and a prototype before committing to a full build.

  • Redesigning an existing product

Finding what frustrates current users and fixing it without disrupting the people who rely on the product.

  • Scaling a design practice

Introducing a design system so several teams can ship consistent interfaces without duplicating work.

  • Adding intelligent features

Designing assistants, suggestions and automation so users understand what the system is doing and can correct it.

Questions

Do you only design, or build as well?

Both. We can hand designs to your developers or build the product ourselves, and our designers stay involved during development either way.

Is user research necessary for every project?

Not always at the same depth. We scale research to the risk involved, and even a few interviews and a quick usability test can prevent costly rework later.

Can you work with our existing brand and design system?

Yes. We extend your existing brand, components and guidelines rather than starting over, and document any additions we make.
